Rarandoi Veduka Chudham (Come, Let’s Watch the Spectacle) is an enjoyable family drama starring Naga Chaitanya and Rakul Preet Singh. This I believe is their first film together, and the first time I’ve seen Rakul in a film.
This film is put out by Naga Chaitanya’s family banner, and he did well in the film, but frankly, I enjoyed his 2016 films Premam and Sahasam Swasaga Saagipo much more. The first half of this film is slow, but it’s saved by the last hour or so of the film when the conflict comes to a head.
I also enjoyed seeing Jagapathi Babu again as Naga’s father. He was Mahesh Babu’s father in Srimanthadu.

As you already know, Naga Chaitanya is Nagarjuna’s son and Nageshwara Rao’s grandson. Both his father and grandfather were one of the biggest stars in the Telugu industry during their respective times. So when Naga Chaitanya was launched, he was also expected to be a huge star though that hasn’t actually happened. His first movie didn’t do well and his next two movies did do well but they were urban love stories, not action movies that reach the masses. He did attempt a couple action movies that ended up bombing at the box office. Barring Tadhaka (remake of Vettai), all of the action oriented movies that Naga Chaitanya attempted would flop. Love stories like Oka Laila Kosam and Manam became what he was being limited to by the audience. Actually the fact that all of his love stories have worked so far was the reason that Naga Chaitanya ended up signing Premam. So after Premam became the biggest hit in his career, Nagarjuna convinced Naga Chaitanya to do a family based action movie like Rarandoi Veduka Chudham to increase his market. The reason why I think the film is not so strong plotwise is probably because they are trying to make a movie that showcases Naga Chaitanya’s strengths. I agree with you that the last hour of the film is the better part of the movie. Either way, the movie is doing quite well and it looks like it will beat Premam in terms of box office collections. The guy who plays Rakul’s father is an actor named Sampath Raj. You’ve probably seen him in Srimanthudu or Mirchi where he plays one of the villains 🙂

If you want to see another one of his movies, I would recommend watching 100% Love next. I think it’s one of the only movies of Naga Chaitanya’s that you haven’t seen yet out of the movies I happen to like. It’s only his third movie but I feel like he improved a lot compared to Ye Maaya Chesave. It’s a fun movie and I think it’s on einthusan with subtitles 🙂

I spent tonight rewatching most of Chatrapathi. I’m realizing that not everyone realizes that Prabhas has done other movies besides Baahubali, and my neighbor didn’t even recognize him in the Saaho trailer before it! Thinking about doing a video talking about the top five – what would be your favorites outside of the Baahubali films? Mine are probably Mirchi, Mr. Perfect, Darling, Versham and Chatrapathi.

Mr. Perfect and Mirchi are tied for my second favorite Prabhas movie. Then it would be Varsham, Darling, and Pournami probably in that order.

Good. Try to watch Angrej. Also, If u like Jatt and Juliet, u would also like Carry on Jatta. It is a funnier movie.

Note: I must say that since you are romantic fan, u will like Amrinder Gill. Amrinder Gill is more inclined towards romance and Diljit is more inclined towards comedy. Although, both of them do Rom coms
